One Little Word

Around blog land it seems to be that when looking back at 2013 and into 2014 folk are thinking of a word to be their mantra. Something to guide them in the coming year. This may be 10 days or so late but here goes. 

My word for the year is going to be PERSPECTIVE. It's not something that I'm particularly good at, putting things into perspective, but I am getting better at it.

So perspective at work, things may seem huge but they are not the end of the world ( I have learnt this over the last 18 months) more huge things will come and go, but life will still go on. This also applies to my work life balance. I'm getting a lot better at this but do need to keep things in PERSPECTIVE.

At home and with the kids. Remember we all only get one go at this ........ I know what I mean by this, it's not something I really want to discuss here.
