We went to Harrogate to the quilt show yesterday. Some fantastic fabrics. I really had to keep a tight hold onto my credit card. A friend of mine really would have been in fabric heaven !
Ellie joined Julie and I and we had a good wander around for a couple of hours. I purchased these two - one is a kit and the other is a pattern. I decided to have a go with small quilting projects before I launched into the real thing. Had to hold Julie back from buying a machine too.
Ellie bought a cross stitch, (bank of mother) which is really driving her mad, but she is determined to master it.
A meal at the pub on the way home was good too - funnily enough I ended up with octopus and calamari this time. Which I have to say I hate so Julie ate.
Hopefully I will be able to start cutting out the fabric for the chicken sampler tomorrow.
