On a wet Tuesday on May half term we were in the garden centre to buy grow bags. Ellie saw the cakes and wanted to buy one (£5 I ask you) so when we got home I got the mixer out.
This is a Mary Berry recipe - Death by Chocolate. It's even got home made strawberry jam in the middle ( chocolate in the middle would just have been too much.
Now kitchen cupboard ingredients and twice the size of the titchy one in Auldene. A tea loaf is also in the oven for Mr B.

Yummy....I could do with some of that today! Teeny tiny corner shop....not much food!
